Curious how you reconcile Christianity with psychedelic insight. John Allegro in "the sacred mushroom and the cross", has proposed, based on linguistics, that Christianity was in fact originally a mushroom cult (around amanita muscaria.) Allegro, I believe, was far from a psychedelic explorer and didn't know psilocybin. From what I gather it was purely his expert interpretation of ancient text that led him to his hypothesis.
