Some apps **support markdown**, some *do not markdown*.

Yes. All text notes (kind 1) and long-form notes (kind 30023) can have markdown in the content.

Check the markdown in `content`
Looks like it is up to client, it works in Amethyst and don't in web clients, raw text ins Jumble and Nostrudel
