Dad was a single father, I was the only child and son. He worked 7 days a week 14 hours a day (for himself). It was not easy for him.
Lower middle class standard. I took it for granted, and even worse as a "kid".
What I considered luxury was what "everyone" else had.
Nintendo, parents non rusty car, house or nice apartment, clothes and high tech toys, etc.
By the time I was 12 he orange pilled me decades before the white paper was released.
We have all the power and we are indoctrinated from birth to lie to ourselves about that.
