Block
Mute
Ignore
What do these actions mean?
How are they used now?
How should they be used (on nostr)?

no block no ignore just mute (for shitcoinbots only)
How they are used:
Hide this note publicly.
Hide this note privately (encrypted).
Hide this note locally in this client only.
Hide this user’s notes publicly, kind 10000.
Hide this user’s notes publicly, kind 30000 with category named “mute”.
Hide this user’s notes publicly, kind 30000 with category name other than “mute”.
Hide this user’s notes privately (encrypted).
Hide this user’s notes locally in this client only.
That feel when you use gossip, primal, and any other client, and they can’t agree on who you want to mute…
To put the question in another way, what do you think should happen when you tap each of these menu items:

I can only answer with what I’d expect:
- Block has no meaning on Nostr because you can’t
- Mute means I don’t see that person anymore
- Ignore could mean I don’t get notifications, but they still appear.
Ignore = don’t show them in the feed, but notify me if they tag me or reply to me etc. basically “i want to see less of this person”
Mute = any events at all from this person should be filtered out.
Block = don’t allow this person to see my posts. not possible on Nostr today, BUT when we have private posts, this is an easy solve
Oh I had mute and reverse opposite from you haha. As long as it’s explained somehow, it will be fine though.
One of them allows notifications at least while the other doesn’t.
🤣 those fucking shitcoin bots 😂
