The best thing is that it could be use in various stages. During pregnancy for holding belly (better for your backpain) or in my case baby is low so it also help. During labor it could be used for massage or to hold you. After childbirth you can carry a child (0-3 months old) in it. I also used it during menstruation before to realse pain.
