I have to say that I love to see this iniative come to fruition. What I don't understand is why they don't want me to donate privately and instead are demanding surveillance coins?

Introducing internet privacy foundation. We build the infrastructure that protects privacy online: open protocols and permissionless tools. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible for US donors. https://ipf.dev image

@Max used to have a presentation to explain why monero is not great & why his wasabi wallet is the thing. Could be related? ๐Ÿค”
Lol. I use Bitcoin for 16 years and if I wanted to use it over Monero I would do. Either you are in it for the privacy and you promote different best practises to reach that goal or you promote your investments in which case I will never donate as I am not into hidden agendas.
I hold XMR, BTC and some other privacy projects. So no, I would just like to see genuine privacy donations.

I don't trust these guys. There is something odd about the fast pace in which "White Notice" suddenly arrived in my feed. There is a lot of people in this ecosystem (nostr) that don't look like the "traditional" sweating open source developers. Who somehow seems to have a lot of time to promote, travel, take awesome pictures, living in luxury residences, have huge teams where most have probably never made a commit. That smells like big pockets, with an agenda.
Sounds like early Bitcoiners. I have more doubts regarding Jack Mallers and Jack Dorsey, obvious intel plants.
