Well, 1990 was my senior year of high school, so it'd have to be anything by Roxette, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Bell Biv Devoe lol.
Beyond that year, I wasn't much for current music. I was deep diving into '70s rock.

Same for me.
In nineties I was discovering Bowie, Zappa and so on.
Generally nineties were great for living (here) but for music - meh. Too late for Zappa, Bowie did Earthling which was far better than anything on the charts at the time but still...
Maybe some ACDC (but then again I started to listen to ACDC later:) )
My Bowie days were the '80s 😁
