Given rainbows are a natural phenomenon that occurs almost everywhere there isn’t a single original meaning that we’ve culturally ascribed to it. I hadn’t known of the Christian myths for the meaning of rainbows but it seems to make sense. A rainbow does feel like the connection to the divine.
>"Christian myths"
If you don't believe the Christian and Jewish beliefs, I understand. But, don't you think "Christian beliefs" would be more a more non-judgmental way of phrasing what you're trying to convey? And, seriously, you're not aware of the origin of those beliefs? Look up Noah and family on Mt. Ararat. You don't have to believe it, but just for the sake of education.
Rabble, I love your thoughts on media and such. Thank you for that.
