Dry stuffy. The wood stove and weather make the house really dry.

It is. It's the best.
Though, in the future, for heating the whole home I build, I'll be utilizing a masonry heater, which is much more efficient for heating. I'll still have a wood stove with a big window on it for ambiance, since most masonry heater designs are not made for viewing pleasure.
