Fear and Wisdom alike can compel a person to move out of the way of the speeding gravel truck. Which compels the person in any such event? How can we know which, Fear or Wisdom or both, is at play? I step out of the way of the speeding gravel truck because to do otherwise would rugpull my ability to do good karmic work in this incarnation, not because I am afraid of what comes next.

Fear and wisdom are not opposite ends of a spectrum. One is an emotion and the other is a concept. We don't need to fear the gravel truck to step out of the way.
