Busy day at our homestead in the city. Today was our 2nd kindling of #rabbits this year for 1 of 2 does. She gave us 6 in the spring and 5 this time. The other is due soon too 🐰
It's also #tomato time and I've been preserving what I can. #Roma only for me 🍅
I cut them in half, core/remove seeds, blend into oblivion and dump it in a tea jar. This sits in the fridge for a day or 2 to let the water separate. Drain water from spigot then scoop the thick pulp into bags or containers for freezing. Then we can make any flavor tomato saucey dish we want all winter long. 😋
