Understood, transactions occur on the polygon blockchain, but matching is done off chain.
Polygon does have an API and for querying you don't need a key.

Also, Polymarket is banned in my country, so I always use a VPN, but I can never remember where it's legal, so end up connecting to a bunch of countries before I find one that works 😂
