A random thought about me… I want to make videos or vlogs or something along those lines. I have the basic equipment and a video editor that seems easy to use. I have watched a lot of “how to” videos on YT and I have even taken video footage of a few things. Problem is that 99 out of 100 (exaggerated 🥹) I just can’t put the whole process together in a way that is not cringe. 😬 On top of that, #nostr apparently expects makers and creators to produce things of both high quality and value as part of the ethos. This is even more intimidating. So I don’t do anything. That’s it, that’s my thought. 🙂

Just post what ya got and get it in motion. If it’s bad no one is going to watch it anyhow. You’ll be learning and getting better then all of a sudden you’ll be good and people will be interested. Action is the only answer.
So far I haven't noticed Nostr vloggers avoiding cringe very well... Most seem willing to start there, at least the few I've watched. (I like reading better than watching.)
But I agree, quality is the goal. Might help to formulate your thoughts a bit first.

Agreed. And to be honest, vlogs are pretty cringe anyway so if it’s what you want to do, lean into that. The way I see it, just be yourself, you may not be the next big thing but you’ll find people that appreciate and they’ll more likely stick with you if they see you as authentic.
Just crack open a beer, hit a bong and melt into the sofa. This IS the way forward in going backwards. Word.
