My son (14) just asked me today when I thought America's dollar would default. I told him that it is impossible to know, but if I had my way it would happen today.
I'd rather go through the hard times than my children. If it meant that they and my future grandchildren had a better life, my taking in all the financial hardship and loosing any future retirement would be a fair trade.
