From what I understand Jacks family is pretty well connected in the financial sector. That’s how he was able to build Strike. He comes from a family with money and connections. You or I could not have built Strike. Not because we lack skill or intelligence, but because we lack the personal relationships and trust that multigenerational elites have cultivated.
