Yeah, I’ve been lucky a few times. I often find the best photography conditions are the first hour or so when the snow actually starts falling. Often after that the visibility reduces and it also becomes much trickier to shoot in the conditions.

This makes sense. I’ll definitely try it. I live near a mountain, so I could make it in half the time in most cases.
