Why is so few people on it today

The hype is over. I said it before but it also suffers a bit from 'cool, but what do I do now?' I know it wouldnt be ephemeral chat which is the current bitchat mo, but having forums/threads would solve this. You wouldn't have to be online at the same time to speak to people. You can start or join a thread and check back to potentially see responses.

I figured the hype would die quick. Stuff like nym and coolr seem like the right direction to me
