What are those projects that invalidate the use case of ecash? The use case is pretty specific (custodial bearer tokens with strong privacy) and I'm not aware of other projects doing that.

I think some frustration is because a lot of the use cases being proposed are not in fact custodial bearer tokens with strong privacy. The privacy can be watered down. For example P2PK in a nostr context and with a degree of app gating, etc.
