No no no you are on the wrong track the whole point of denying CBDC is because it’s centralized. CBDC is controlled by government and #Bitcoin , there is no middle man.
It doesn't matter if its based on #Bitcoin, as long is a token controlled by someone, its to avoid
Completely agree. I guess I'm trying to envision an ideal and/or realistic way a government could layer a fiat currency on top of #Bitcoin. I guess what I'm envisioning is actually more of a government fedimint.
Agreed, you always need to be aware of your counterparty risk. But in terms of scaling solutions, what if a #Bitcoin friendly nation developed an L2 or fedimint. Yes you're trusting an entity not to rug you and there are potential privacy issues but I'm pondering an ideal government-bitcoin relationship.
In this case, as any L2 has to lock some #Bitcoin to operate, it will increase the demand for them and further increase the adoption of our favourite token
