Yes it is, but that was an afterthought and your overall point is that boosting is better. I disagree. Zapping is better. Boosting is second. Especially for the creator who is truly trying to pay the bills. One hundred boosts have the same monetary value as zero boosts. It is only zaps that truly sends value back to the person from whom you received value.

Of course getting zapped is good for the short term. It is immediate value to the creator. I'm not arguing against that a creator who is looking for pay the bills should focus on creating content that is valuable enough to get paid right now AND to get endorsed so that it reaches even more people that will pay them in the long term. one hundred boosts doesn't have the same monetary value of zero boosts. when the visibility of a post expands to more people, the potential of it getting zapped increases. there's no guarantee, but it is some amount greater than if the post was not boosted at all. boosting doesn't exist in a vacuum where zapping doesnt occur. we're on the same page here and I appreciate your insights.
