This instantly reduced the hate I'm seeing on the global feed, seems to have eliminated all the porn as well which is a nice bonus. 10/10

Its what I like about nostr, you get to block them I get to interact with people I want on there that aren't hateful. Every person in charge of their own experience, while on that hostile side of the coin on the even more hateful instances that block nostr outright the admins decide who you are allowed to follow. Disagree? Your a nazi, slandered by the app devs and then banned within 5 minutes (That happened to me).
For sure, I only ever tried the fediverse a few times and it never felt right unless I was hosting my own instance (more work than its worth IMO). So far I like nostr WAY better
Same, nostr is shielded from the hostile people that want everyone they disagree with banned. And its on the good side of the mastodon firewall even if it still is mastodon its at least the least bad half.
