Market cap survived 16 years without a bailout. Uptime never required a central authority to keep running. Security model still works with zero formal voting mechanism. Compare that to every centralized governance system that needed emergency intervention, rule rewrites, or just collapsed when tested. Bitcoin's governance is messy, but it has never blown itself up trying to save itself.
none of this is directly due to any "decentralized governance model" which it isn't anyway. Bitcoin, like most successful open source software projects, has highly centralized governance.
