When somebody says that “Bitcoin has already won” or something similar, pay attention to what:
- they mean by Bitcoin winning
- they themselves are doing
This is the first paragraph of the Bitcoin White Paper:
“A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.”
Are we living in a world, where Bitcoin is used as peer-to-peer cash and sent directly from one party to another without going through financial institutions?
I would say that we are pretty f@cking far away from that. But we will get there when we stay vigilant and keep working.

It has not won, most of the focus is on soft non-threats bip110. Real threats are here or incoming and not many people are talking about them.
Some Major threats.
Encirclement by KYC.
What percentage of the supply is KYCed.
KYC Internet access.
Sim internet access.
AI agents using Bitcoin and choosing to run or not run nodes, what software will they use? Will they make their own? What are the incentives for agents operating on Bitcoin? Are the incentives different then human actors?
