I use it at home, got a better maker for under $30? A new one now may be more as Alan Sadler sold it to a different company Ive been told ๐

using it long term i would be worried about the plastic nanoparticles slipping into the coffee. i know they say it does not but i do not believe it. i do not even use paper filters because they are also made with chemicals which will be dissolved by hot water. i use a steel screen.
i like all steel coffee makers. for example bialetti. very cheap.
also metal or glass french presses do not have any plastic.
at home i use an espresso machine from bezzera, the inventor of espresso.
it makes the best coffee in the world
