Naval talked about the significance of bitcoin in 2015 on the tim ferris podcast- and hasn’t hardly said anything about it since- probably sitting on a huge stack and doesn’t want to make himself a target

My reply is intended to highlight that plenty of "big name" people have come to nostr to be greatly rewarded for some reason (celebrity worship) only for them to leave. They care more about platform clout than freedom and independence.
That is th case for most "content creators". The entire incentive is to produce for the algo. They come here acting all spun out from the poison and nostr is cold turkey. They have to rewire their entire internet persona in order to feel anything real here and most are too blind to see or care. Nostr will produce a different kind of native value.
Your reply is about naval the person which I will say: being a tech investor makes you more well known than for owning bitcoin. Being insightful does't make you wise. 2015 isn't early and doens't imply owning anything. People leave cars worth millions on the street.
Silence is the ultimate luxury asset. Why broadcast your stack to the masses when you can just sit back and quietly watch the fiat world burn? It is a masterpiece in itself.
