I fear it doesn’t matter if they are “elected” or not, democracy can become the weapon of the oppressor, as it gives a justification for their existence and actions. Trying to end this system is like trying to end shitcoins (fiat currencies included). Not only is it impossible, it’s against all tenants of a free market. Instead of giving energy to end the current system we must give energy to build a different one, and let them compete in the free market. I already know who the winner will be.
