#asknostr #devstr Legit simple to standup and maintain relay for self hosting notes?
I’ve found recently that some relays may not be accepting my open librarian events. For now only really affects me as I am the main user. Would hate to lose all my tracked book info though.

You need a Relay Propagation Checker
for bookmark
Probably a local cache relay like nostr-relay-tray can help

Thanks, will take a look.
if you add the slash "/" to your relays they can look for you in my file
Sorry, maybe misunderstanding this comment.
if xrelay[0:6]=="wss://" and xrelay[-1]=="/"
if you write your relays probably don't have the final "/", I can't access it from my python file
I get you, was able to update them all in primal. See what you think.
Specifically the kind 30250 progress events seem to have not been saved in the relays. When refreshing I am getting old progress events back from the relays.

ah no for 30250 I don't have the login, I found some
Yeah key thing is making sure the latest events are stored and the older ones retired/removed. That way it keeps the progress in sync. I suspect some relays are just not accepting the events as they are not really standard. Especially if they are trying to manage db costs.
This is pure speculation, didn’t get any bugs on the app side so need to dig a bit deeper. I reckon though I will have to take a side quest and setup my own OL relay. I was trying to avoid this but it is what it is.
