Upvoting, liking, zapping, commenting, consuming content and commentary, or pumping out an endless stream of hot takes and vlogs won’t make one bit of difference without actual action. Leftists have captured institutional education and institutional media. I attend a number of public local government meetings every month, from water districts to school districts, county boards, and advisory councils, and there is no one in these meetings under the age of 50 except me. The school district meetings especially are packed with blue-haired activists on EBT diets and teachers’ union reps who always want more. So where are the young fathers? Why don’t I see them showing up? Why aren’t they reviewing the content being pushed on their children, standing up for truth, demanding accountability? My children have never been in a public school and never will. If you don’t have the means to homeschool or send your kids to private school, I understand. But what I don’t understand is not even knowing what’s happening inside the schools—who has authority, who sets policy, and who’s influencing your kids. I see a lot of bravado out there about standing up to leftist propaganda and activism. But the hard truth is this: if a radicalized system is educating your children, you lose. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, how many weapons you own, how many debates you win, who the president is, or who controls Congress. The fight for the next generation is happening now, inside these institutions. Instead of chest-thumping online, do what Charlie did: calmly but firmly assert yourself into the conversations and policies of local governments and community groups. It’s these smaller, local groups and activities that make up a nation. Start participating in civic life—or stop talking. And be smart about it. Be strategic. Go in unassuming. Play the long game. Focus on specific issues, build influence, identify problematic personalities, and probe for weaknesses. Create a plan to locate, confront, and dismantle the dogmas and propaganda that have taken root in our communities. Be wise as serpents but innocent as doves. Keep your reputation impeccable. Stop ranting online be thoughtful and wise with your words, Touch grass, spend quality time with your kids, and build local influence. Think locally, act locally. Strong local communities are like impenetrable castles.
