This is a disruptive technology for sure. I use AI to try to figure out how to use it so that I can keep my job. Some of my older kids are idealistic and urged my wife and me to not use AI. I briefly explained that I didn’t have a choice. Some of my competitors are using it, and if I don’t then I risk going out of business. My use of AI isn’t all driven out of fear, though. It is a really fascinating technology. Some of the things it can do can be building blocks to new things not easily possible before.
