Incentives always inform outcomes, shockingly few focus on the former

The scary thing is that the same people who come up with things like this are also putting in place a totalitarian surveillance system that only that sort of person would thrive in...

We had 3 generations of food stamp, public housing, no dad, 6+ kid households next to us where not one person worked or did anything the entire day. A system gamification passed down from grandparents (grandmothers only) to grandkids. They were finally evicted after 8 years of terrorizing the neighborhood and reporting of incidents to the subsidized landlords.

What “story”? It’s hypothetical.

Anyone jealous of the bottom of society mentally or physically disabled losers needs to get their head out of their ass. I dont care what they got for free. Their lives suck and theyre clearly not inspiring anyone else, or have any desire to try to improve their lives or others. How can you possibly be jealous of someone barely surviving on government safety nets. Theres always going to be some people taking advantage. You cant help everyone who needs it without some exploiters, and blocking out all the bad guys will end up having collateral damage done to genuinely needy people.

People who are dependant on the system are easier to control, this is basic communism.

Proper market incentive design is everything. Saying Satoshi wouldn't want more transactions on bitcoin is like saying the founders wouldn't want you to own guns
