I respect the privacy of others, I also believe you’re a clown if you think that every other human being on the planet agrees. If they did, we wouldn’t need curtains because voluntarily no-one would look inside anyone else’s windows. You are trying to impose your views on other people which is antithetical to the values you’re espousing. No-one else is under any obligation to you, it’s not their job to protect your identity. And this has nothing to do with “rejecting surveillance” - people choosing to go to a conference are not being “surveilled” by other people at the conference taking photos, that’s a stupid conflation on your part. I see nothing in your post about the hotel/conference CCTV, the biometrics taken at the airport (face scans, fingerprints, gait measures etc) upon arrival, the actual real world surveillance we are all subjected to in public on a day-to-day basis which are things you could rightfully be upset about. Railing against people who paid to attend the same conference as you is silly.
