If anyone has a different idea of what will the future look like without the outbox-model (or something like it) that isn't so dark, please tell me, I'm very interested to hear but I can't for the life of me figure out what is in the minds of people who don't like it. Thank you very much.

The common theme i’ve seen of people who are anti-outbox/gossip model is one of two camps: 1. Those obsessed with performance/speed/data usage and they believe centralization is the only way to do that. 2.
