As draconian anti-privacy and pro-censorship laws sweep through parliaments across the globe, it's time people stopped pretending the ballot box is their only defense and exited the mental prison known as "democracy." Vote with your feet and with your money!
Let's face it: the same politicians signing away your freedoms were "democratically elected," and by the time you can "vote them out" in 2-4 years, if you even get that chance, the damage will be irreversible.
The truth is that it's delusional to fund a system hell-bent on destroying everything you care about—your kids, your health, your privacy—while naively hoping for a "messiah" to reform it from within. The system is irredeemable and cannot be reformed. This is the lesson Trump, Milei, Bukele, and others have taught you, if you've been paying attention. The system is bigger than one man or one party and has been around for centuries. The system doesn't exist to serve you. The system isn't broken; it's working exactly as designed.
Every dollar you spend with companies that lobby for surveillance states, every tax you pay to governments that criminalize privacy, every transaction through banks that freeze accounts on political whims—you're casting a vote for your own subjugation.
Businesses and governments understand one language: money. Not your protests. Not your petitions. Not your carefully worded letters to representatives who've already sold you out. Money elected them. Money will remove them. Elections can be rigged, canceled, and ignored, but your economic choices are uncensorable.
You can't whine about bank deplatforming where Bitcoin exists. You can't complain about propaganda while still paying for a New York Times subscription. You can't cry for healthier "food regulations" while feeding your kids processed sludge. You can't demand "safer vaccines" from liability-shielded pharma giants while willingly injecting your kids with their products. And you sure as hell can't expect fiscal responsibility from a state that owns a money printer.
You plead for freedom while financing your jailer. You beg for privacy while handing your data to surveillance giants. You protest in the streets, then buy from corporations that lobby to muzzle your voice. Something is definitely wrong with this picture, and these pleas are falling on deaf ears.
That era—the one where voting, protesting, and petitioning changed things—is mostly dead. That's why they got away with locking you in your home, masking your kids, censoring you online when you disagreed, shutting down your business, and coercing many into taking experimental treatments, all in the name of safety from a dangerous virus, despite all the protests and petitions.
It's time to stop funding your own oppression. Exit. Unsubscribe. De-bank. De-state. Stop begging, start building. Refuse to play rigged games. Opt out of products, services, and nation-states that don't serve your interests.
Vote with your feet and your money.
