We shifted away from a centralizing model of fixed relay lists where everybody just uses the same big relays to talk to each other, to a model where each user can have their own relays and things will still work fine. It's much better for decentralization.

OK. And that is an Amethyst thing right? So I guess other users will need time to adjust...?

Many clients are already like that. We were just catching up to them.

Also, @Vitor Pamplona it seems like the past notifications for messages, likes, etc are now only half there... I am missing quite a few.
