There would be too much noise on the web, due to the horrific terrorist attack. I have been doing event organization for decades, so I know how much work is involved in even a small festival. Minimum 6 months lead time, booking artists & performers, the venue, insurance, set design and construction, etc.. Maybe you are so susceptible to conspiracy theories because you want to believe them? Is it more exciting for you than the Occam’s Razor?
