I don't want to read another story since someone used a perfect HW wallet thought to add some randomness by throwing the dice ONCE and let that HW wallet produce a seed phrase....
You can call him stupid. You can blame the HW manufacturer they should not allow just one or a few dice rolls, but in the end the user fucked up.
Just like sending to a wrong adress or whatever, you are responsible.
And these "tips" with good intentions but are in fact asking people to do things of which some have mo clue of what they are doing, is good intended but not smart.
You put in the time, but you can't expect others did as well.
That is also the reason we shouldn't advise Bitcoin to anyone, we should ask or advise them to study it !

I understand your point, the best approach to get into this is with an open mind, with the "no trust, verify" mindset and understanding what your are doing. At the minimum doubt just stop.
This guide does not tell you to roll a die once, but is a full step by step process.
I used the words "consider" and "fun exercise".
Some concepts needs to be deeply digested before being put into practice with your real seed!
