So I was outside months back playing with my thermal optic looking into the sky at an airplane. There was some glowing orb that I could only see through the optic trailing a plane, and it was kind of landing near an airport, so the plane was low. Once again, you couldn't see anything when you looked at it with the naked eye.
I follow some random YouTube channels and one of them is weird sightings and another guy using an ATN thermal optic caught something similar but instead it was forward of the plane and off to the side. He sounded as surprised as I was. I just didn't hit the record button because I was playing with the optic because I didn't really know how to properly use it yet.
Get outside and look to the skies more often.
