It's a massive pivot though. Other stuff was never envisioned as primary. Also what we're looking at now is way beyond even the other stuff part. What we're looking at now is basically an API-substitute. Which is cool. But that's a far cry from a open social media protocol that ensures people can post without worrying about arbitrary moderation policies.
