I think for the most part people always married within their culture/race due to lack of ability to travel or the comfort of keeping things simple (we both don't need to learn a new culture or create one).
As far as christians go, it's based on your faith in jesus christ not so much race

Are you then a believer in the blank slate theory?
If you'd give any individual from any race (nature)the exact same life and upbringing (nurture) and circumstances as each other, you'd end up with identical people and beliefs and cultural habits?
Or are there differences between races that affect their probable outcome to function well or not well in a given culture?
