It's different though. HTTP created a new space from thin air. Nostr is a protocol that lives on top of HTTP and competes for adoption with many other decentralised social protocols: ATProtocol, ActivityPub, Farcaster, DSNP.org, Willow, Goblins... It's a long list. Each one is good at some things and not good at others. And a lot of overlap too; almost everything Nostr supports ATProtocol can also support, etc. A lot of people here seem to ignore all these other decentralised social protocols, and so fiatjaf has a point.
