Is it not an attack when the loudest proponents of it have resorted to calling Core developers and users enablers of illicit material and threatening them with the specter of legal action and government intervention? The whole thing reeks of zealotry and cult behavior. You can run whatever you want, but there’s no logic to support the argument that anyone else should feel compelled to do it just because it exists.

1) The loudest proponents don’t represent the entire movement.
2) Show me where a core developer was threatened with legal action? I did see a case made that the change could invite legal action, but that is much different.
