We are past the early adopter phase how many cypherpunks are there in the world? They probably all found bitcoin by 2015. But I do agree that privacy should be a bigger topic among bitcoiners in general.

New cipherpunks are born everyday. They're just not attracted to Bitcoin now. They all go to Monero.
Plenty of privacy conscious bitcoiners around. But where are the tools? When samourai went down, was surprised to see all the wallets run for the hills instead of finishing the decentralized coordinator
