i can’t think of another example where a business can treat you like shit, not let you do things you clearly want to do, fully subjugate your autonomy and continually provide an increasingly suboptimal product and you continue to grace that business with your presence. If it were a restaurant, some people would complain demand a refund and create a bit of a scene while others may just quietly never return. Either way, most people after a shit meal or two with shit service and a clear distain for your patrionage react similarly. They stop giving that place their money, and opt to give it to someone else. Internet businesses that provide “free” services really have done a number on us.
