I agree about small worlds though. We need ACLs like private accounts. Most people don’t want or need to be fully public to the world. ACLs typically need everyone to have their own server though. Otherwise you have massive whitelists you’re managing and updating in weird ways

I don't think there is any evidence that any leadership could have done better, certainly I wouldn't, and no one here would have, not sure who do you have in mind who could have done a better job.
