We don’t do round trips at all. We just add a buffer and do refunds (which we have to do anyway).
But yeah. I didn’t know you were using Kagi. Makes sense. Maybe offer a hosted Searx as well?

Yes I know but this introduces an account effectively where are searches are linked by payment. Exactly what this is not supposed to be. Unless you top up and get a refund after every search then round trips
