On November 19, 1969, Apollo 12 achieved the second human Moon landing. Astronauts Charles “Pete” Conrad and Alan Bean became the third and fourth humans to walk on the Moon. Conrad famously said upon stepping onto the surface: “Whoopee! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that’s a long one for me.”
