BINANCE SHARED CUSTOMER DATA WITH RUSSIA IN UKRAINE DONATION CASE Binance provided Russian authorities with personal and transaction data on a customer accused of donating more than $700 in crypto to the Ukrainian military, according to Reuters. The data reportedly included his transaction history, passport, Bulgarian residence permit, address, phone number and date of birth. Russian authorities used the information as evidence to charge him with financing terrorism. Binance said it complies with legitimate law enforcement requests worldwide in accordance with applicable legal and privacy requirements.
