Ironically, the U.S. idea of taking over Greenland ended up bringing Greenlanders closer to Denmark, even as their desire for independence grew stronger.
Greenlanders actually seem to be uneducated about this. Let them look up “The Technate of America” and see the related map from 1940. It’s even on Wikipedia. Greenland and Venezuela are both part of the plan.
Waiting Trump out will do nothing, since this is not something Trump came up with.
