People need lessons like this to realize various risk factors. People who own a coldcard but either don't know about dice rolls, passphrases, or multisig will now realize their mistake if that is the true cause of this issue. And if they stay calm and transfer to a new setup they will have improved their own security. But yeah people freak out and panic pretty quickly on social media. If you have enough bitcoin to freak out and panic then you reeeeeeallly need to take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself why the hell don't I use multisig?
