In Japan, the Kōreisha mark, or "aged driver sign," is a statutory indicator for elderly drivers.
Established under the Road Traffic Law, this symbol is recommended for drivers aged 70 and above if their age might impact their driving ability.
For those aged 75 and over, displaying the mark is mandatory. It helps integrate elderly drivers safely into urban traffic without stigmatization.
